Where did it all start? Well, you could say it started back in High School, where our high school had a teletype computer that would allow you to play simple games using BASIC programming language. From there, it was only a matter of time before my love of gadgets caught up with my passion for learning. In the early 80's, the Apple computer was the platform of choice for schools around the nation. I would spend hours teaching others about how to program grade books, and finding ways to make little "extra" features on my own programs. Over time, as computers became more sophisticated, my passion for computers was cemented in stone (or was that in silicon chips?)

But it was a serendipitous comment overheard in my office in the 90's that lead to the formation of TRP. In my office, I was pretty much considered the "computer guru". While it set me in good stead with my co-workers when they had problems, it was a hard title to live up to. One lady in the office was a bit of a computer-phobe, and said to me, "That Internet just scares me!" The bulb went off in my head, and before long, I had written one of the early guides to the basic principles of the Internet. The book was appropriately titled, "The Internet Scares Me". It did mildly well, but couldn't keep pace with the virtual explosion of growth and complexity of the World Wide Web.

But my desire to design websites grew as more people discovered the need for their own sites on the web. Those early days had me designing websites for a Big Gulp and lunch. Before long though, I was so overwhelmed with work I had to start charging money. Today, we still take great pride in our work, and work with a select group of clients to make sure they get the best value for their money, and the best customer service on the Internet.
